The nature in Ghana
Ghana has some of the most beautiful natural areas. There are many exiting nature attractions to see and expirience.
Some of the many exiting parks you will find in Ghana is the Kakum National Park. The Kakum National Park is located in the central Region of Ghana, and covers an area of whole 375 square kilometers. A unique thing about the Kakum National Park is that the park isn't established by the State Departments of wildfire, but instead is established at the initiative of the local people. A famous thing you can see in the park is The Kakum Canopy Walk, which is a bridge about 350 meters long and connects with seven different tree tops.
Ghanaian wildlife
The wildlife in Ghana is rich and various, and you find many mammals, reptiles, insects and marine species across the country's different habitats. A nice place to visit and to experience the wildlife in Ghana could be The Mole National Park, which is the largest, oldest and best viewing park in Ghana. It's a two day drive from from the capital Accra, so the travel can be a bit long, but the beautiful view of the park is really worth it. Although elephants live in many remote places in Ghana, it is also only in Mole National Park were you can expect to see elephants in Ghana. Depends on the weather, you can also see antelopes, bushbucks, warthogs, baboons, monkeys and other smaller wildlifes. The best time visiting Mole National Park would be mid-december through mid-april because lack of water concentrates the animals at known water sources.
